“Prince Harry suffers a lot from people judging him”
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly feeling the pressure after making the decision to step down as a senior member of the royal family.
Nacho Figueras, a close friend of Prince Harry’s, says the royal has “suffered a lot” in recent weeks.
During the ABC News special Royal Divide: Harry, Meghan and the Crown, Figueras explained: “He’s being a father. This is a guy who is trying to protect his cub and his lioness from whatever it takes.”

“He has suffered a lot from all of the things that have happened to him,” he continued. “He suffers a lot from people judging him.”

Harry and Meghan announced earlier this month that they’d be stepping down from their roles as senior royals.
They’ve dropped their HRH titles and will no longer carry out royal duties or military appointments, or formally represent the Queen at official engagements.
The Sussexes’ explained that they want to “carve out a progressive new role within [the royal] institution” and “work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen”.
In a moving speech, Harry explained that he was left with “no other option” but to make the decision to step away from his royal duties, as he wants to protect his wife from relentless scrutiny and bullying from the press.
The young family will now divide their time between Canada and the UK and are currently residing in Vancouver with their son Archie.
