Jil Sander - Runway - Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020-2021

Who: Jil Sander

What: Lucie and Luke Meier described their latest collection for Jil Sander as a celebration of purity, rather than minimalism. Filled with beautifully simple pieces (cashmere knits, scarves, ribbed dresses and suits), everything was sleek and sharp, but with that distinctive feminine edge.

Alberta Ferretti - Runway - Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020-2021

Who: Alberta Ferretti

What: Alberta Ferretti nodded to the Eighties with her latest collection, sending colourful ruffles, jazzy jumpsuits, oversized earrings and suede knee-high boots down the catwalk. A world away from the Boho brand she was once known for, the house’s daywear was all about tailoring, tweed and leather.

Gucci - Runway - Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020/21

Who: Gucci

What: Alessandro Michele put the backstage centre stage with his latest show at Milan Fashion Week. Models first took to the circular catwalk in dressing gowns, before getting changed into Michele’s latest creations in front of the audience. The collection consisted of bold suits and block-coloured silk shirts that were an ode to Seventies style, as well as extravagant dresses fit for a period drama. The looks were accessorised with jewelled headpieces, bandanas and hats, proving that it’s all in the headwear for autumn/winter 2020.
