While 2019 has yet to see a wedding on the scale of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s elaborate Indian festivities. There are still plenty of celebrities walking down the aisle and saying “I do.”

There’s already been another Jonas wedding, as Joe and Sophie Turner pulled off a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas, complete with an Elvis impersonator. The couple also exchanged vows again in Provence, France on June 29 after a week of celebrating with friends and family.

The surprise small wedding followed by a bigger party later might just be becoming a trend. Us Weekly reports that Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman were legally married earlier this year. But also had a larger ceremony with friends and family in Paris the last weekend of June. So, too, did Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin after their small courthouse wedding in 2018.

Here’s a rundown of who’s tied the knot this year. While we wait for news of weddings from engaged couples, including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and J.Lo and A-Rod.

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma

Hilary Duff married her longtime love Matthew Koma at their Los Angeles home at sunset on December 21, according to People. “The wedding was at her house. It was small and low-key. Only family and close friends,” a source revealed. “The reception was in a white tent in the backyard.” The couple got engaged in May 2019 and welcomed a daughter, Banks, last year. The Younger actor also has a son, Luca, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.


Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith

On December 20, People reported that Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith had tied the knot in a secret ceremony. The news comes months after the couple was photographed getting a marriage license in Beverly Hills, California. During that time, the Queen & Slim star also made her relationship with The Affair actor Instagram official after sharing a sweet photo of them gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes. “Two people who only fancy each other a little bit,” she captioned the shot.


Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence and art gallerist Cooke Maroney were first spotted together in 2018. Eventually Lawrence revealed Maroney had popped the question, and the couple began planning an October wedding in Rhode Island. Sources say J.Law wore a Dior gown for the big occasion.

Rapper Nicki Minaj has often referred to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty as her “husband” in the past—but she appears to have confirmed they are officially married in her latest Instagram post. “👰🏽🤵🏽😢🙏🏽🎀 Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” she wrote in a caption. The couple has been dating since 2018.


Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

After more than 10 years together (and two children), Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan got married on October 5 in front of a small group of friends and family. “Jeff and I just want to put it out there that WE GOT MARRIED! For real. We’ve lived as husband and wife for a decade. We’ve built a family, and a farm and found our community…,” Burton wrote on Instagram alongside a wedding photo. “Rather than make vows right out of the gate, we lived them. For over ten years. The good times and the bad. Standing up there with our children at our sides—celebrating all that has been—was bliss.”

Singer Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling got married in an elegant wedding in York, England, on Saturday, August 31. The singer, who looked stunning in silk crepe wedding dress by Chloé, exchanged vows with the art dealer inside the historic York Minster in front of family and friends, including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and Sienna Miller. E! News reports that Miles Teller and his longtime girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry, tied the knot in Hawaii over Labor Day weekend. The couple got engaged in Africa in August of 2017. Not long after, Teller told Jimmy Fallon, “She watches The Bachelorette and stuff…she felt like she had won because she had a final rose.”
